Regional Vocational Training Mobilization from AYSKAD

A Vocational Training Cooperation Protocol was signed between The Elevator and Escalator Industry Businesswomen's Association (AYSKAD) and Konak Çınarlı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School on 7 September 2018.

Inaugurated on 14 February 2018 with 28 female founding members, AYSKAD started its first project with AYSKAD Academy, which was established under the Education Commission. Through this project, launched under the name "Regional Vocational Training Mobilization," the needs of Çınarlı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, which is one of the long-established vocational high schools of the Aegean Region, will be fulfilled.

Within the scope of the protocol, workshops will be equipped with cutting-edge technology products, the curriculum will be updated according to the new regulations, and the trainers will be given theoretical and practical training. In addition, sectoral presentations will be arranged for 34 students who will study in the elevator department during the 2018-2019 academic year, and their parents.

Gülgün Gülol, the Chairman of the AYSKAD Training Commission, coordinates the project, which is implemented with the support of regional associations and the leading companies of the sector, in line with the demands from schools.

Regarding the issue, Yasemin Bulut, the chairman of the Board of Directors of AYSKAD, stated that the “school-industry cooperation model actualized by a civil society organization will be a first in our sector. At AYSKAD, we believe that the basic principle for the sustainable development of our sector is to support vocational education. For this basic principle, we invite all associations and leading companies to be sensitive and support the project. We aim to carry into effect the training activities that will be a bridge for the future of our sector locally all over Turkey with the union of forces that will be formed within the scope of solidarity and unity from now onward as it is today.”

Çınarlı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Principal İsmail Çam, Vice Principal Ertuğrul Bağuç, Electromechanical Carriers Section Chief Muzaffer Belci and Teacher of Installation Technologies Field Fevzi Balkan attended the signing ceremony of the project, in which it is aimed to increase the number of schools and students the next year.
