“Merih Elevator Academy” is Opened

Within the scope of the protocol signed between the General Directorate of Vocational and the Technical Education of the Ministry of National Education and the Elevator Industrialists Federation (ASFED), “MERİH Elevator Academy” was opened within the body of Yenimahalle Şehit Mehmet Şengül Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School on October 25, 2018

The elevator academy, which was founded by MERİH Elevator, subsidiary of ASFED, consists of 6 workshops that are up-to-date and equipped with the latest technology. In the workshops consisting of Elevator Car and Landing Door Assembly, Well Assembly, Hydraulic-Pneumatic and PLC, Escalator and Rail Systems, Control Panel and Electrical Systems Workshop and Training Room, training will be given in the main branch of elevator systems.

President of Elevator Industrialists Federation Yusuf Atik expressed his feelings regarding the proud opening of the “MERİH Elevator Academy,” which MERİH Elevator has brought to vocational education, and stated, “We know that the sector is entrusted to our trainees who are the guarantee of our future. We are aware of the fact that qualified staff to the sector is provided through proper training. We are always ready to provide all kinds of support to train the staff with the required qualifications for the future.”

The Ministry of Industry and Technology, Industry and Productivity General Manager Halil İbrahim Çetin, the Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education Prof. Dr. Kemal Varın Numanoğlu, Ak Parti Isparta MP Mehmet Uğur Gökgöz, President of Elevator Industrialists Federation Yusuf Atik and Merih Asansör General Manager Ahmet Atik attended the inauguration of the Elevator Academy.
